Sierpe Mangrove Boat Tour Costa Rica
These vast and untouched flooded forests are accessible only by boat. Venture into a beautiful maze of canals as we search for the region’s most fascinating wildlife, who call this hidden world home.
Our four different species of mangroves harbor many species of fish, and are home to reptiles, amphibians, and mammals. These include howler, squirrel, and capuchin monkeys, as well as sloths, crocodiles, mangrove boas, and river turtles.
There are over 100 species of birds, including the endemic Mangrove Hummingbird, which is found nowhere else on Earth! Many migrant birds find their way here during their winters up north.
This tour is truly an exceptional Costa Rican experience, ideal for birding and photography, the wildlife watching here is where you can get up close to the magic of nature!
Price: $115 + tax Per Person
(4 person minimum, and once the minimum is met there’s a 50% discount for children under the age of 12) – private tours available by request.

Tips: We recommend bringing a water bottle, as well as sunblock, a hat, long sleeve shirt and/or pants to protect yourself from the tropic sun. Bring your camera and binoculars if you have them- if not, you are welcome to rent a pair of binoculars at reception.
